It was a warm morning for the annual health and safety training session in the Burcombe yard at the weekend. Groups of drivers attended refresher workshops on tipper, sweeper and mixer maintenance and updates, company news and annual checks, as well as a fire safety demonstration by Phoenix Fire Consultancy.
The morning was fuelled by Helluva pasties and was a successful and beneficial morning for all!
Burcombe Haulage have been successful in obtaining additional accreditations in health and safety. Completing the Contractor and Non-Construction SMAS SSIP accreditation for 2018/19 as well as the health and safety accreditation for the CQMS Safety Scheme, puts the company not only up to date with regulations but also enables the opportunity for further tender contracts in future.
