I just wanted to pass on my appreciation and thanks to one of your employees Richard Mould who helped me last Thursday when I had a tyre blow out. He stopped and offered his help managing to access the spare tyre which was stuck and then change the tyre for me.
I had four infants in the car and was on my own, I had broken down on a busy road near Trerulefoot and he was able to get me moving swiftly and quickly. Thanks to his help I didn’t have to wait for my recovery.
He did an excellent job and I just wanted to raise his kind act with his manager and to say thank you again. Kind Regards Natasha
Quick response to enable Tamar Bridge cantilever to be reopened
I would just like to express my gratitude towards Burcombe Haulage and thank everyone involved in the sweeping at the Tamar Bridge on Sunday.
It was great to be able to get a quick response on Saturday morning from your staff to enable the North Cantilever to be swept sooner than expected and opened ahead of time.

Impressed by driver’s thoughtfulness
I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with one of your team, I live on Redwood Drive Plymouth this is the main route into Redwood Heights.
Your truck driver this morning was doing his job, he must of seen me come out of my house and get into my car as by the time I pulled off my drive he had thoughtfully pulled over which he was obviously forward thinking to allow me to turn around and go past him. WELL DONE THAT CHAP how pro active and thoughtful was this. I was suitably impressed and I would like you to pass this onto the driver. Well done to you and your team. Seriously we have a lot of issues with other companies on this road, well you should be proud that yours stood out today. Thank You

Patient around young horse – thank you
I just want to say a big thank you to your drivers at Callywith Quarry. This morning I was riding my very young (just broken in) horse down by the quarry when one of your lorries drove up behind on a road with no room to pass. Your driver was so patient, he held back and kept the lorry as quiet as he could. He waited until I found a safe space to pull the horse in and then passed by slowly and quietly.
These days, everyone is in such a hurry to get to where they’re going that this kind of courtesy is often lost, causing horrific accidents to both horse and rider. This small act of kindness is very much appreciated.

Operator Scores 100%
High praise was given to an individual at Burcombe this week after scoring 100% in the Dynafleet report which the dealership said has only been achieved once before. To achieve this astonishing result meant the operator achieved 100 for braking anticipation (reading the road ahead), 100 for engine utilisation (not over revving the engine) and 100 for over speeding (no over speeds at all)
The sales director from Volvo said ‘The effort and concentration to achieve this over a week is really remarkable. He would defiantly get a job at Warwick driving for the demo department!!

Honestly everyone who I’ve met who has been here to collect has always been friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever a problem which makes life a lot easier for us and you have always supported us even when we downsized. Thank you and all the drivers at Burcombe for creating the film unit base area at 6 acres over the last two weeks.
It is perfect and all the large and heavy vehicles and trailers fit in.
They arrived last Friday so timing was spot on.
Although they only stayed until Monday they returned on the 4th for 10 days and then again at the end of August for another 10.
Without hard standing an area of ‘festival’ mud would have been created which would have been a bit difficult.
