MAN TGX joins the fleet

Burcombe Haulage welcomed a new brand to the fleet yesterday, with the introduction of our new 2019 MAN TGX.

With the new 510bhp engine, Kelsa spotlight bars fitted at the request of the driver and Alcoa durabrite wheels to help promote our proud company image, it is the full package for practicality and a smart look on the road.

We highly spec our vehicles for the comfort and convenience of our drivers who spend 3-5 nights per week away from home, with the MAN TGX featuring leather seats, fridge and microwave.

The MAN is the first of the brand in the Burcombe fleet, following a meeting with James Smith, their ‘Seed Vehicle Campaign’ made business sense and a hard deal to turn down. The deciding factor was the service level commitment made by the local dealership, with the truck being maintained by MAN at Plymouth on a gold package R&M contract.

Burcombe Haulage Director Nicola Batten is pictured with James Smith of MAN at the handover yesterday, an hour later the truck was on out on its first delivery with a delighted driver.
