New trailers and design unveiled

Burcombe Haulage are proud to unveil their new general haulage curtain sided trailers.

Designed in house with the assistance of TRL and Roland, the curtains feature the new rebranded font using the distinctive wheat and wheel alongside the recognisable Burcombe red, yellow and black as well as a new grey introduction, a nod to our construction fleet colours. Updating the look of our long distance trailers includes the website on the back doors and the proud connection to our Cornwall base.

The trailers themselves were supplied by Ryan Jones of Trailer Resources Ltd, whose wealth of knowledge proved invaluable in producing the finished trailers. Built by Montracon, a family owned business with values and ethos aligned very much with Burcombe’s own, the XL rated curtains are integrated with a “strap safe” system meaning that drivers can safely secure loads deck to deck without having to access the trailer bed. Especially useful when loading tall loads such as timber. One of the trailers is fitted with a 1500kg capacity tuck away tail lift, offering an extra service to customers requiring additional unloading assistance.

Fitted with BPW ecoplus axles with drum brakes, Burcombe specify these axles on all our trailers for their reliability. Standardising on one axle type has also reduced the need for stock spare parts.

The three trailers are now out on the road with our fleet of modern high spec tractor units, transporting goods around the country and flying the flag for Burcombe Haulage.
