Hockey v Rugby

Burcombe Haulage kindly sponsored the pitch hire for the Hockey v Rugby match at Lux Park in Liskeard yesterday, between Caradon Hockey Club and Liskeard-Looe Ladies RFC.

The well supported and attended event was raising money for St Lukes Hospice and was a work effort as Caradon players from Burcombe – Carina, Nicola and Helen took part with Rachel from Callycombe Aggregates also on the team, plus Burcombe driver Will who trained the girls and helped on the day. Despite a few aches and bruises, everyone was still smiling at the end!
